The exhibition in Warsaw

Polish lyceum#25 organized the exhibition of female paintings in Warsaw. The teachers of Pinsk Children’s Art School Tatyana Hanzhurava, Zhanna Varabyova, Julia Chmil and the student of Academy of Art Nadzeya Syaredzich exhibited their works made in the technique of graphics and paint on cloths. Each painter brought to the capital of Poland five her paintings: landscapes, still lives, abstractions. The exhibition lasted two days: June 21-22, 2004. During the exhibition the Institute of Belarusian Culture in Warsaw organized the concert of Belarusian music. Also the visitors had the opportunity to watch the forbidden in Belarus movie “Occupation. Mysteries” by Belarusian film-maker Andrey Kudzinenka. This film recently took part in the international film festival in Moscow. Polish mass media highlighted the exhibition, also there was a program about it on Radio Liberty. Some paintings were bought by people in Warsaw. - We were impressed by the exhibition hall and different devices to hang pictures on the wall. It was not necessary at all to use a hammer and nails, everything was ready in fifteen minutes. We were also pleased to see that people in Warsaw are interested in art, - said Tatyana
